Isn't it obvious?

For this blog theme of "taking a picture where the subject obviously knows they are being photographed," I wanted to play with the idea of reflections. Is the eye contact between photographer and subject more direct when it is directed through a mirror? Does it seem more apparent? After exploring this idea for the week I'm not quite sure but I think its an interesting concept. Is the reflection of a subject different than the subject itself?
